Zoeva Rose Gold Palette- First Impression

Hello Everyone!
So today I'm going to be doing a first impressions on a palette I received for my Birthday and I thought I would do a first impressions before I do a proper review so you can see both sides of it- My impression when I first try the palette and then when I've used it for a while and have an opinion on it.
So I got this palette for my birthday from everyone at work which was lovely as I had been looking at this palette for a while but just never got round to picking it up. First impressions is the packaging is absolutely stunning and I love as the palette is 'Rose Gold' themed the packaging fits perfectly which I just think all the palettes in the Zoeva range are stunning. So from looking at the palette my first thing to say is you get ten shades which consist of shimmer and matte shades in a perfect gold and brown tones which are what I mainly reach for on an everyday basis. All the shimmer shades are a range of gold and rose gold shades with two dark shades in brown and a very dark brown which can be mistaken for black. I will go through the shades in more details further down if you want to go straight to them then feel free to keep going down the post!
So when applying the eye shadows to my eye lids I was very surprised at how pigmented the shimmer shades actually are as normally when I apply shimmer shades I'm disappointed as they aren't as pigmented as I want them to be and I feel like I'm applying just a shade onto my eyes without it having any impact. The shades in the Rose Gold palette though are so pigmented I feel like I can be very light but it will still apply a lovely coat of shimmer on my lids. As for the matte shades I also feel these shades are perfect for the transition shade and the crease shade so I'm very happy with how the shades are and I have to say the lasting power is so good as they last all day as long as you apply a primer which I use my MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre which is one of my favourites. I have to say for first impressions I'm loving this palette and I love the shades as I feel I can create so many lovely eye looks with the range of shades in this palette so I do love this at the moment. I seem to use a palette for a while and then get bored of it but we will see if I stick to using it and I will then review it once I've used it for long enough- I have to say though definitely pick this up.
So here I'm going to be just talking about the shades so it gives you a good look at the shades if you are thinking of picking this palette up so let's get into it. I love the shade names as I feel they suit the shades perfectly but as I said you get ten shades in the palette which only three are matte and the rest are shimmers but I prefer shimmers on my eyes as I feel like they make my eyes pop a lot more so I definitely love this palette just for that reason. I love applying Luster all over my lid before applying a transition shade before I start my eye look. So the shimmer shades are mainly golds, Rose gold and a dark brown which I love to use in the crease. I have to admit I'm not sure when I would use the Harmony shade as it's a more cool shade which I prefer to use more warm tone shades as they suit my green eyes more but I love the shade so I really want to try and use it. The main colour I do love is the Copper is King as it's just a perfect rose gold shade but I feel it just makes the look more put together as it ties everything in perfectly so I'm really glad I got this palette for my birthday. So the last thing I will say is the last power is perfect as the shades last all day on the lid without losing any pigment and I never want to take my make-up off when I use this palette as they just look perfect even after a full day at work- Such a winner!
If you are wanting to pick this up I did ask for it off Beautybay as it's such a cheap website and they sent the palette out the day after work ordered it for me and it arrived within two days it's definitely perfect, Also the website has free delivery with an order over £15 which is such a bargain.
