Rummage Through My Collection

Hello Everyone!
So for this week’s post I thought I would share with you a recent find I found in my collection which I fell back in love with – Don’t you just love when that happens?
So I was rummaging around my collection a few weeks ago as I was resorting my make-up and putting it into different draws so I kind of came across a few bits I completely forgot I had which one of those products was the Nars One Shocking Moment palette which I picked up from Depop ages ago and I’ve hardly ever used it, Why I honestly don’t know. So this palette was a limited edition collaboration with Steven Klein and in the palette you have a highlight shade, contour shade, bronzer and four blush shades which range from baby pink up to a more deeper pink and also a coral blush so if anything there’s a bit of everything for someone in this palette and let’s not forget about the amazing mirror in the palette. I will say two of the blush shades are actually exclusive to this palette whereas the other two are permanent blushes to Nars. I must say I’m a little scared to carry this around in my bag so it just stays in my dressing table but I honestly don’t know why I don’t use this more. The contour shade is the Nars Paloma contour shade with the identical highlight shade with the Laguna bronzer which I really like this bronzer shade if I’m honest. I have to say when using this palette I don’t apply too much product meaning this palette will last me so long.
The blushers are the perfect consistency meaning they are not too powdery and can be built up if needed. I have to say the highlight isn’t my favourite but I will apply this if I have applied a cream highlight underneath as it makes the highlight more prominent. So as for the blush shades the palest pink shade is called Robotic with the next deeper pink in the shade Blasphemy which I love that name. The coral shade is called Luster with the more deep red/pink been called Dolce Vita. The most used blush for me is definitely Luster as it just suits me a lot better than pink blush so that’s definitely the most used but I do also use the Dolce Vita when I’m feeling a little adventurous with my make-up. So I have to say this palette was definitely worth the money and I need to start using it more but if you do want to give it a go I honestly would as you wouldn’t be disappointed at all! I would recommend trying Depop to find the palette as some people will definitely be selling theirs.
Do you own this palette?
