Hair Care - New Buys

Hello Everyone!

So for today’s post I thought I would share the new buys I picked up for my hair.

I have been growing my hair out for the past 2 years which I did want to do for a while which it’s grown quite well as it went from a pixie cut to past my shoulders in around 2 years which does seem a long time but my hair doesn’t grow that quickly to be fair.

I decided to pick up two products to see if it would help my hair but I’ll be honest as I’m typing this post up I am a few weeks away from getting my hair coloured and a lot shorter because deep down I don’t think I’m a long haired type of girl but I thought I would share these products as I have loved using these products on my hair and have seen some good results. I am hoping to be able to use these products when I have short hair but we will see – I may do a post on the products I use on my short hair once I’ve had it for a while and got back into the routine of having it so short.

So the first product is L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil which I was scared to use oils etc on my hair thinking it would make it look more greasy rather than making it look more healthier and sleeker but I was so wrong, I apply this to wet hair and just put around two small pumps into the palm of my hands then put it through my roots and it honestly makes my hair so smooth and makes it have such a lovely shine and I’m desperately hoping I can still apply this when I have short hair and have the same results – I adore this!

The next product I’ve been using is again another L’Oreal product but it is the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil mask which I picked this up from my local Tesco as it was on offer but again I’m a little sceptical to use masks as I’ve never had good experiences with hair masks but I’ve found how to use this one to work with my hair. I apply this in the bath on a Sunday when I’m having a pamper and apply it once I’ve washed my hair but I just apply it to the ends of my hair and leave it in for 2-3 minutes but it honestly does wonders as it just makes my hair so much more softer and more manageable when I dry it. I’m not sure if I will be able to use this when I have short hair but again I may give it a go.

Overall these two products have just been amazing purchases for my hair and I’m so glad I did branch out.

Have your tried these?
