Netflix - Recent Watches

I thought since we are all currently still at home and finding ways to spend our time (Mine has been spent reading or Netflix!) I thought I would share my recent watches on Netflix and what I enjoyed!

I have to admit I don't spend as much time as I would like getting into tv shows or films which I do keep trying to get into new series or watching new films but I'm just not a massive tv fan if I'm honest but I will speak about the stuff I have been watching recently -

TV Series
Night Stalker - I saw this advertised and thought I would give it a go and this was one of those tv series where now I'm still thinking about it, This is about the hunt for a serial killer in Los Angeles in the 1980's and I just found this quite hard to watch as it did explain each killing of his victims but I was so invested as I wanted to see how they caught him and what mistakes they made. I have to admit watching this was quite frustrating because of the mistakes they made throughout the investigation but by the end you learn how they caught him and watched some of the footage of him and overall I just thought this was such a good watch.
The Crown - I think I am probably the last person to watch the crown but I was watching this with my Mum so couldn't carry on with the series unless we were watching this together and I honestly adored this, I just loved the cast and how everything was portrayed and I just loved learning more about the royal family. I have to admit you don't know what is correct and what is just scripted into the story but overall I just loved watching this and I can't wait for the next series.
Ackley Bridge - This was a rewatch for me but I just wanted something easy to have on in the background whilst I am working from home and this was just what I needed.
The Ripper - This was a must watch for me and I loved it, I enjoyed the hunt and the footage throughout and I just found this interesting to watch. This was another frustrating watch because of the mistakes made throughout the investigation but stuff like this intrigues me to watch to see how they found the killer.
The Society - I actually watched this in the first lockdown back in 2020 but wanted to give this a mention as I loved this series and I'm hoping another one will come out but I'm not sure, This is based on a group of teenagers who go on a school trip to come back to town and the population of the town has completely vanished leaving them in control, I just thought this was such a good watch and I loved the twists and turns throughout.

After - This was a movie I just knew I needed to rewatch before After We Collided came onto Amazon Prime Video and I just loved After all over again when I rewatched.
To All The Boys I've Loved Before & P.S I Still Love You - I read the first book in this series back in 2020 and really enjoyed it and I was just wanting some cute films to watch and these didn't disappoint, I watched the first one and then decided even though I haven't read the second book I just wanted to watch the film and I'm so glad I did.
Divergent/Insurgent & Allegiant - I read this book series so many years ago and never actually watched the films so one weekend I decided since I had some time I was going to watch the films and see what I thought of them and I honestly adored them so much! I'm so glad I watched these as I just loved them as much as I enjoyed reading the books all that time ago.

Do you have any recommendations for Netflix?
